Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Role: Senior Infrastructure Engineer responsible for managing and enhancing Cabaletta Bio’s hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure to support biopharma R&D operations. Responsibilities include administering AWS cloud services (EC2, VPCs, security), Windows/Linux servers, network components (firewalls, VPNs), and supporting cybersecurity, backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure automation. The role collaborates with internal teams, vendors, and external partners, providing technical guidance and support for infrastructure projects, security compliance, and operational stability. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in IT, CS, or related fields; 5+ years in infrastructure management, with experience in regulated biotech/life sciences environments, supporting GxP systems and compliance; strong AWS, Windows, Linux, and network skills; foundational cybersecurity and disaster recovery expertise. Preferred skills include experience with containerized workloads (ECS, EKS), scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python), hybrid cloud support, and relevant certifications. The position reports to the Director of IT and Data Sciences, located in Philadelphia (hybrid). Travel is occasional. High-value specifics include supporting scientific and clinical infrastructure, cloud modernization, infrastructure automation, and working within regulated biotech settings to ensure operational resilience and security.
