Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an internal expert in molecular and clinical imaging (PET, SPECT, and other advanced imaging) and lead fit-for-purpose imaging strategies across research, early development, and late-stage clinical development.
- Develop imaging biomarker, target engagement, and translational imaging strategies to support patient selection, pharmacodynamics, efficacy, safety, and mechanism of action.
- Collaborate with operational teams, imaging CROs, academic centers, and external experts to design, execute, and interpret imaging readouts in multisite clinical trials; ensure quality, timeliness, and responsiveness to clinical teams.
- Evaluate and implement novel imaging techniques, quantitative methods, AI-enabled analytics, and imaging platform capabilities to improve portfolio decision-making.

Essential Requirements:
- PhD or MD or MD/PhD with 8+ years of PET/SPECT imaging experience (academia or industry), including at least 5 years supporting clinical drug development.
- Deep technical expertise in PET and/or SPECT for clinical drug development.
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial design, endpoint development, biomarker strategy, statistical considerations, and clinical data flow; experience writing clinical protocols across functions.
- Plus: PET/SPECT tracer development; radioligand imaging; dosimetry; receptor occupancy; clinical RLT/RPT; regulatory interactions/submissions; first-in-human imaging; endpoint validation/qualification.
- Plus: Knowledge of sites/budgets, imaging CROs, imaging data standards, and multisite trial execution.
- Proven innovative research across imaging modalities.
- Proactive, independent, collaborative leadership; strong English communication and ability to influence/mentor.

Compensation (expected): Senior Principal Scientist: $132,300–$245,700/yr; Associate Director: $145,600–$270,400/yr. Performance-based cash incentive; potential annual equity depending on level.
