Role: Senior Principal Scientist or Associate Director leading clinical imaging and biomarker development within Novartis' Clinical Imaging and Analytics team. Responsibilities: provide scientific leadership in molecular and clinical imaging, especially PET/SPECT, across oncology, neuroscience, and metabolic indications; develop and execute imaging strategies for patient selection, target engagement, efficacy, and safety; collaborate with internal teams, external CROs, and academia to design, implement, and interpret multisite clinical trials; evaluate innovative imaging techniques and AI-enabled analytics for decision-making. Requirements: PhD or MD/PhD with 8+ years in PET/SPECT imaging, including at least 5 years supporting clinical drug development; deep expertise in imaging modalities, clinical trial design, biomarker strategies, and radioligand development; experience with regulatory submissions, multisite trial management, and radiopharmaceuticals is preferred. HighValue: imaging in early to late-phase clinical trials, translational biomarker development, supporting oncology, neuroscience, cardiovascular/metabolic programs, and precision medicine initiatives.
