Role Summary

Senior Health & Science Specialist, Amyloidosis Multi-Disciplinary Specialist (AMS) in Louisville, KY. Responsible for ATTR-CM disease awareness and engaging health care providers across multiple specialties to accelerate patient identification and treatment, reporting to the Area Business Manager. Implements territory plans, partnerships with Rare Cardiac colleagues, and uses approved resources to educate customers and drive patient recognition.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize customer opportunities and projects to maximize impact; leverage data sets and stakeholder input to inform decision making.
  • Develop territory business objectives and define key performance metrics aligned to brand objectives; meet or exceed goals via prioritized customer target lists.
  • Maintain active customer profiles, plans, and data sets using company planning resources.
  • Continually evaluate and refine call planning to optimize schedules based on local territory factors such as access, geographic span, collaborative commitments, and customer alerts.
  • Utilize advanced selling skills and approaches; understand complex selling environments within local markets; tailor messaging to customer needs and adapt messaging as needed.
  • Partner with customers to connect Pfizer resources and services to meet patient needs; grow and maintain relationships with stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Build in-depth understanding of local market factors, customer landscape, and ATTR-CM disease area, including diagnostic procedures and related clinical profiles where applicable.
  • Educate customers on ATTR-CM disease and diagnostic procedures to support patient identification and treatment; demonstrate brand value proposition and deliver compliant messaging.
  • Implement approved marketing educational programs across customer segments and present materials to deliver value-added messaging; respond to changing market dynamics with agility.
  • Coordinate with other customer-facing teams and Subject Matter Experts to elevate the customer experience and accelerate internal efforts to meet customer needs.
  • Proactively gather insights from customers and apply them to anticipate opportunities and threats across local markets; utilize market data in local planning.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and remain coachable to enhance capabilities.
  • Demonstrate and promote a culture of best practices, integrity, and compliant use of promotional materials; engage leadership to drive innovation and open communication.

Qualifications

  • Required: Minimum of 5-10 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience.
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree or an associateโ€™s degree with 8+ years of experience; or a high school diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to formulate, develop, write, communicate, and monitor execution of Territory business plans.
  • Required: Demonstrated history of strong teamwork and collaboration.
  • Required: Strong analytical skills with ability to apply market and customer insights to inform sales planning and execution; track record of assessing customer needs and providing tools/resources to drive performance.
  • Required: Consistently follows and supports company policies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred: Rare Disease experience strongly preferred.
  • Preferred: Product launch experience preferred.
  • Preferred: Hospital sales experience preferred.
  • Preferred: Experience calling on large academic centers and hospital systems.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required or an associateโ€™s degree with extensive experience; or high school diploma with extensive relevant experience.

Additional Requirements
