Senior Hardware Engineer, Nanofabrication and MEMS Development

Role: Senior Nanofabrication Engineer leading the design and development of MEMS-based sensor architectures for a biopharma-focused proteomics platform. Responsibilities: oversee micro-/nanoscale device fabrication, process development (lithography, etching, deposition), optimize device performance, perform failure analysis, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams for system integration. Qualifications: B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent; 5+ years in MEMS/microfabrication with expertise in cleanroom processes, device characterization, and design tools; experience integrating devices with biological systems is highly valued. Preferred: experience with biosensing MEMS, microfluidics, wafer bonding, working with external foundries, and startup environments. High-Value: focus on sensors for biomedicine, operating within R&D or early-stage development, in a highly collaborative, on-site setting, requiring regular lab work.
