Senior Global Technical Training & Development Engineer

Role: Senior Global Technical Training & Development Engineer responsible for creating and delivering technical training programs for Illumina's genomic products. Objectives: develop global training strategies for new product launches, enhance troubleshooting and technical skills among Field Service Engineers, and support customer and distributor training. Responsibilities: design and update training materials on computer systems, software, networks, and business processes; facilitate technical courses including demonstrations and hands-on exercises; collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training needs are met; author and review technical documentation; continuously update content to keep pace with evolving technology. Requirements: minimum 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; BS in Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field preferred; excellent presentation, interpersonal, communication, and project management skills; experience with optical alignments, fluidics, robotics, electronics, or mechanical systems advantageous.
