Role Summary

Senior Global Program Head, Neurology Development overseeing critical development activities in Neurology & Ophthalmology Development (NOD) with a focus on leading a Phase 3 multiple sclerosis program. Shapes strategy and manages execution, collaborating across research, regulatory, clinical, and commercial functions to expand the Neurology portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Owns the overall program strategy and leads the international cross-functional team to meet program objectives
  • Oversees development planning, execution, and budget
  • Proposes strategies for interactions with health authorities
  • Establishes project goals in alignment with functional resource allocation, goals, and objectives
  • Responsible for generating support and implementation of clinical studies
  • Ensures operational plans are integrated across all functions
  • Interacts with regulatory authorities, approves protocols, informed consent documents, clinical study reports, and product labels
  • Responsible for communication strategy and scientific disclosures and travel authorizations
  • Leads a global GPT for a Phase 3 MS program and contributes to end-to-end strategy from research to clinical assets

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; Medical Doctor or PhD in relevant area preferred
  • Required: minimum 10 years of clinical, scientific, or industry experience, preferably in neurology
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Travel up to 25% domestic and international
  • Preferred: strong leadership to manage international, cross-functional teams; deep understanding of neuroimmunology diseases; ability to navigate global drug development and regulatory landscapes
