Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key engineer for the GenAI platform; contribute to closely aligned areas (AIML Platform, DevOps, Compute, Cloud).
- Co-design major GenAI Platform components; develop production Python code; participate in design and PR reviews.
- Own key GenAI platform components focused on usability, reproducibility, and performance at scale.
- Integrate with DataOps/Data Engineering products for best performance and ease of use in ML training at scale.
- Participate in scrum teams; design innovative strategies to improve the end-user experience.
- Champion engineering discipline and CI/CD best practices; proactively improve your engineering area.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related.
- 4+ years building production systems.
- Strong Python (well-instrumented, tested, maintainable code).
- API design and developer-experience focus (versioning, SDKs, docs); collaborate with ML/security/product teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Platform lifecycle management for services (Models/Agents/MCP), including CI/CD, API discovery/routing, authentication, observability.
- LLM integration expertise; agent frameworks such as LangGraph.
- Production multi-tenant Vector DBs (e.g., Weaviate) and embedding/modeling best practices.
- LLM fine-tuning and/or optimized deployments.
- Infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD tools (Terraform, GitHub Actions).
- Google Cloud; scalable compute (Google Batch, Vertex AI).
Compensation/Benefits (US): Base salary range $158,400β$264,000 (location-dependent), annual bonus, share-based long-term incentive eligibility, and health/insurance, retirement, paid holidays/vacation, and paid caregiver/parental + medical leave.
