Senior Fire Systems Specialist

Role: Senior Fire Systems & Life Safety Specialist overseeing fire protection and safety programs within Regeneron's US IOPS operations. Responsibilities include managing fire system projects, conducting assessments, ensuring NFPA compliance, coordinating with local authorities, and supporting emergency preparedness initiatives. The position involves integrating new fire technologies, overseeing contractors, and maintaining regulatory documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in fire protection, mechanical, electrical engineering, or related field; 5+ years of relevant experience in pharma/manufacturing environments, familiarity with addressable fire alarm systems, suppression technologies, and Honeywell platforms. Preferred skills include NFPA and NICET certifications, project management (PMP/PgMP), and experience with hazardous area classifications (Class 1, Division 1). High-Value: Focus on GxP environments, hazardous area compliance, fire safety in pharmaceutical manufacturing, and integration with Building Management Systems. Collaboration involves cross-functional teams, facilities, security, and external regulators. Location: Onsite in Rensselaer, NY, with work hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
