Role Summary

Senior Financial Reporting Analyst responsible for key contributions to the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal controls and SOX compliance. Compile, consolidate, and analyze financial data to support journal entries, trial balances, financial statements, and account reconciliations; resolve routine issues and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate key aspects of the monthly financial close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting for internal and external users.
  • Compile, consolidate, and analyze financial data to support the preparation of journal entries, trial balances, financial statements, and account reconciliations.
  • Apply accounting principles to classify and record financial transactions across multiple systems.
  • Prepare and contribute to various financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and statements of cash flow.
  • Perform intermediate-level financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of financial systems and tools, resolving routine issues independently.
  • Support and enhance automation initiatives to streamline close processes and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Ensure documentation and processes meet company policies including SOX compliance standards and internal audit requirements.

Qualifications

  • University Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 years work experience required
  • SAP knowledge a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
