Role Summary

Senior Financial Analyst based in Jacksonville, Florida, providing key business decision support, strategic analyses, and financial reporting for the Quality function within J&J Vision Supply Chain. This is a high-visibility role with opportunities to present to management, including Supply Chain Finance and business leaders. The role requires motivation and the ability to perform analyses under tight deadlines with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for global financial consolidation and reporting results including expense, capital, and headcount for the Total Vision Quality function with an approximate $180M budget across six Supply Chain manufacturing sites and the Home Office.
  • Framing financial results for Senior Leadership and providing financial support to understand potential risks/opportunities to enable informed decision-making.
  • Lead forecasting and financial planning for Quality Home Office and Jacksonville site, including Business Planning and Plan Updates, ensuring alignment with corporate targets.
  • Drive accuracy and compliance for quarter-close and perform close responsibilities including latest thinking, journal entries, intercompany cross-charges, and commentary for variances versus plan.
  • Analyze capital investment opportunities, delivering data-driven recommendations using NPV, IRR, and other financial metrics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Commercial FP&A teams on ad-hoc analyses, providing insights to support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Seek opportunities to continually improve and standardize reporting and forecasting processes to drive efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Required: A minimum of 3 years professional experience in Finance, Accounting, or related business experience.
  • Preferred: CPA, CMA, MBA or other financial certifications.
  • Required: Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Preferred: Experience with SAP and/or financial reporting tools such as Anaplan.
  • Required: Prior experience creating and delivering presentations to senior management.
  • Required: Ability to challenge business assumptions, develop alternative scenarios and educate business partners on financial concepts.
  • Required: Must work well in a dynamic environment, be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently, and effectively prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting (required).
