The Senior Financial Analyst, under minimal supervision, is responsible for guiding balanced financial decisions related to the performance of the site. This position will report to the Senior Finance Manager Monarch Supply Chain. The individual will be responsible for business partnering with relevant departments and internal finance. This is a critical and high visibility role within the Site and provides significant opportunities to present to management.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
Inventory Reporting and Accounting
- Report and plan on inventory related accounts including reserves, FAA, LCM, maintaining compliance and updating procedures according to business practices
- Support and guide the inventory projections for the business, including gross and net, and guide the overall business to understand gross to net implications
- Maintain and improve processes around standard costs for RAD
- Review PPV projections and review deviations to increase visibility on cost of materials and finished goods
- Responsible for working with the warehouse team in overseeing the cycle count process including but not limited to the following review and track daily cycle count accuracy, ensure policies and procedures are being followed and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Drive improvements and lean culture. Challenge established norms and processes to deliver tangible benefits in scope of control, predictability, efficiency and effectiveness,
Business Partnering
- Primary Business Partner with Planning, Source, Procurement
- Point of contact for inventory reporting for Inventory FP&A
- Drive financial accountability, ensuring that the financial implications of operational decisions are considered
- Take ownership to ensure accounting and reporting procedures and practices are fully compliant with SOX and internal control guidelines
- Point of contact and key business partner for inventory and costing, and total cost of ownership of external purchases
Business Plan and Forecasts
- Prepare and consolidate templates for all plan cycles
- Accurate, timely, and complete financial forecasts, reports, submissions & analytics for Monarch for the aforementioned business partners
- Ensure alignment & transparency between P&L and Balance Sheet assumptions relating to inventory items
Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Master’s/MBA, CPA, or CMA are preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of finance or related business experience is required.
- Supply Chain finance experience required.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (Formulas, VLOOKUP functions, Pivot Tables).
- Experience in building and delivering PowerPoint presentations to all levels of the organization is required.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and highly ambiguous environment is required.
- Strong communication, framing and presentation skills, along with solid interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills required.
- ERP SAP Experience preferred.
- This role is located in Santa Clara, CA and may require up to 10% travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$89,000-$142,600
Additional Description For Pay Transparency
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
