Role Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst role supports the MedTech Supply Chain Source team, serving as the primary Finance business partner for the global Wound Closure & Health (WCH) and BioSurgery (BIO) Procurement and Supply Chain organizations. The role leads financial analysis, month-end close, and forecasting, analyzes cost variances, and supports business cases for cost savings, new product launches, and capital expenditures. It can be based in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Florida, with a preferred location in New Brunswick, NJ. The WCH and BIO franchises manage a substantial raw material spend across a global supplier network.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary Finance business partner for the global WCH and BIO Procurement and Supply Chain teams to analyze financial data and influence business decisions
- Independently lead key month-end close and forecasting processes, including building content for and presenting to WCH and BIO Supply Chain leadership teams
- Forecast, track, and analyze purchase price variances, including cost improvement projects, market-driven price increases, and other raw material surcharges
- Partner with Surgery PMO to proactively track and validate business cases behind cost savings (for both existing products and upcoming new product launches), operational expenses, and capital expenditures
- Proactively look for opportunities to streamline and automate processes, including acting as a change agent during the CFIN/Anaplan go-lives for MTSC
- Ensure compliance with general accounting and J&J Procurement policies & procedures
- Facilitate annual standard cost setting with business partners
- Support ad hoc business needs in a sophisticated, matrixed environment

Qualifications
- Minimum of three years finance or related business experience
- Supply Chain experience preferred
- Must possess the ability to partner with people at all levels of the organization and have strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- The ability to maintain, improve and build efficient sound business processes is required
- This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and proven leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel and PowerPoint) is required
- Experience in SAP, TM1, Anaplan, PowerBI, and JDE is preferred
- The candidate must be comfortable with ambiguity and have experience building and implementing financially viable business models
- Good communication and negotiation skills, ability to work in a team environment, and willingness to meet stretch objectives
Education
- Bachelorβs degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
