Role Summary

Senior Financial Analyst - MT Supply Chain Source Finance – EPNV located in Raritan, NJ or Titusville, NJ. Serve as primary Finance business partner for the global EP & NV Procurement and Supply Chain teams to analyze financial data and influence business decisions. Independently lead key month-end close and forecasting processes, including presenting to EP & NV Supply Chain leadership, and support cost savings, capital expenditures, and standard cost setting in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary Finance business partner for the global EP & NV Procurement and Supply Chain teams to analyze financial data and influence business decisions
  • Independently lead key month-end close and forecasting processes, including building content for and presenting to EP & NV Supply Chain leadership teams
  • Forecast, track, and analyze purchase price variances, including cost improvement projects, market-driven price increases, and other raw material surcharges
  • Maintain balance sheet reconciliations for annual accruals, as well as consigned inventory based on timing of receipts
  • Partner with EP & NV PMO to track and validate business cases behind cost savings, operational expenses, and capital expenditures
  • Proactively streamline and automate processes, including acting as a change agent during go-lives for MTSC
  • Ensure compliance with general accounting and J&J Procurement policies & procedures
  • Facilitate annual standard cost setting with business partners
  • Support ad hoc business needs in a sophisticated, matrixed environment

Qualifications

  • Required: A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
  • Required: Minimum of three years’ finance or related business experience
  • Preferred: Supply Chain experience
  • Required: Ability to partner with people at all levels; strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • Required: Ability to maintain and improve efficient business processes
  • Required: Highly motivated with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and leadership capabilities
  • Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Preferred: Experience in SAP, TM1, Anaplan, PowerBI, and JDE
  • Required: Comfortable with ambiguity; experience building and implementing financially viable business models
  • Required: Good communication and negotiation skills; ability to work in a team and meet stretch objectives
  • Required: Location flexibility to be in Raritan, NJ or Titusville, NJ; up to 10% travel
