Senior Financial Analyst, Global Functions

Role Summary

Senior Financial Analyst, Global Functions, located in Titusville, NJ. The role provides leadership over financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting activities for Innovative Medicine Finance budgets, partnering with VPs, CFOs, and Senior Directors to support strategic decision making. Responsibilities focus on quarter close and planning cycles, including journal entries, intercompany charges, latest thinking, budget vs actuals analysis, headcount reporting, and presenting results to business partners. Also involved in planning cycles, headcount loading into the compensation tool, and budget collaboration with business partners, with a global overview requiring close coordination with regional counterparts. Opportunities to drive process improvements and learn systems such as CFIN, Anaplan, Alteryx, and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Present quarterly BVA results and forecasts to VPs, CFOs, and Global Functions leadership teams.
• Quarter close responsibilities (Journal entries, Intercompany charges, Latest Thinking, Headcount reporting, Risks and Opportunities Analysis)
• Budget forecasting and planning (Work with business partners to create meaningful budgets, Headcount planning, Expense planning, and target transfers)
• Identify opportunities to standardize and automate processes, lead or participate in key initiatives and ad-hoc projects.
• Knowledge of key business drivers and strategies is critical for success and will be gained from establishing close working relationships with business partners.
• This position provides the opportunity to work with senior level management within finance and the functional business partners as well as cross-regional partners.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably a major in Accounting or Finance or other related field.
• MBA, CPA or CMA certificate is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of finance or related business experience is required.
• Must possess excellent analytical, conceptual, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• SAP experience is preferred.
• Must possess the ability to work independently, influence decision making, think creatively, challenge the status quo, and work across multiple teams.
• Must work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements.
• Must possess the ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization.
• This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity and proven leadership skills.
• This position will be located in Titusville, NJ and may require up to 5% travel.
