Role Summary
Senior Financial Analyst based in Raritan, NJ. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence three days per week. You will provide financial leadership for the Global Technology Services Group, including the reporting and analysis of consolidated results for infrastructure and support services across Johnson & Johnson operating companies. You will develop data analytics to shape key business strategies aligned to the technology roadmap and help drive new processes that enhance finance digital capabilities across Technology Services.
Responsibilities
- Analyze Consolidated Global Technology Service Finance results for expense and headcount, including supporting financial forecast and close processes.
- Interpret and translate complex data into value-added insights for Senior Finance and Business Leadership reviews and presentations, including preparing visual presentations for leadership to better understand where strategic decisions should be evaluated.
- Build and maintain cross-functional partnerships (IT, Procurement, Engineering, Operations, 3rd party suppliers) to lead data analytics and support ad-hoc requests as needed.
- Develop pricing & billing models and support global billing communication efforts
- Ensure all compliance activities and principles (GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley) are adhered to for all aspects of the job responsibilities.
- Examine existing financial processes and concepts to identify areas for operational improvement and/or to reduce complexity across segments.
Qualifications
- Required: A minimum of a bachelorβs degree is required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
- Required: A minimum of 3 years of finance or related business experience is required.
- Required: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint).
- Required: Ability to analyze large data-sets and clearly communicate complex business information.
- Required: Experience with financial reporting (forecast, actuals, etc.) and analyses, including making recommendations on how the organization can improve performance based on financial data.
- Required: Must have ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed, dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: MBA, financial certification in ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CMA or other equivalent is preferred.
- Preferred: Experience with reporting tools such as SAP and TM1 is preferred.
- Preferred: Experience with data analytics software using Alteryx, Tableau, other software (Apptio, Digital Fuel systems), and visualization tools is preferred.
