Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with functional leaders and cost center owners to develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
- Track departmental expenses, investigate forecast deviations, and identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare and present actionable financial reporting (e.g., monthly variance analysis) and keep management apprised of performance.
- Perform month-end close activities, including accrual analysis and recording accounting journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Assist in preparation of reporting packages for executive management and the Board of Directors.
- Liaise with external auditors for quarter-end data requests.
- Support special projects and ad hoc requests with analytics and data gathering.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of FP&A or Accounting experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to influence and partner with leaders at all levels.
Required/Preferred Skills:
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Experience with Hyperion, SAP, AI tools, and dashboards preferred.
