Fixed-Term till June 2027 As a Senior Finance Manager Controlling, you will play a strategic role and will be a key member of the Global Functions Finance Business Unit. The role reports directly into the Finance Director Controlling, Procurement and WREF (Worldwide Real Estate & Facilities). As a Finance Manager Controlling Procurement and WREF you will: Be responsible and coordinate month-end and Planning cycles and controlling activities for both Procurement and WREF functions. Provide strong leadership and support to the Procurement and WREF Finance Directors for Pure Play Finance Partnering and directing Controllership activities in the Hub for WREF and Procurement (including activities performed by the Close & Control team – part of Global Finance Services). This is a role encompassing Business Partnering areas of finance: Driving Partnerships Catalyst for Change Option Analysis & Decision Making Questioning & Challenging Being Enterprise Minded Communicating for Results Key responsibilities: Manage Planning Cycles [3/1 plans and Latest Estimates [LQE, MYE] supporting in providing with guidance and coordination on timelines, key milestones and collecting business inputs – through finance partners – to achieve senior stakeholders sign-offs and perform formal submissions. Manage Month End cycles, delivering commentaries and management reporting covering income statement, balance sheet and cash flow as applicable. Key actor for financial control for Procurement and WREF Function covering all related legal entities. Work with the Procurement and WREF Function Finance Partners to analyse and investigate trends/variances to achieve plans as well as providing insightful commentary and identification of risks and opportunities for review with Functional Leads and GFF VP. Drive and perform MPR (Monthly Performance Reviews) on OPEX and Headcount for the sub-functions within Global Procurement. Support the Finance Director Controlling, Procurement and WREF on ad-hoc requests and strategic projects as required from both Procurement and WREF FDs and senior business stakeholders. Key actor to deliver continuously improved ways of working on processes such as Month End / Planning or cost allocations to business units, driving consistency, simplification and engagement across GSK areas where Procurement and WREF are present. Drive cost consciousness, promoting engagement and skills development amongst budget holders. Manage and develop the GFS / Genpact teams dedicated support (c.5 FTEs in total) and coordinate and lead in a matrix environment the flow of information between the Controlling team and the Procurement and WREF finance partners team (leveraging, defining and building close collaboration with analysts in those teams). Support any internal and external financial audit processes by working in close collaboration with Auditors and provide co-ordination and guidance to GSF Finance teams/project teams as appropriate. Why you? University degree e.g. Finance, Business, Economy or related discipline. Relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MBA or equivalent). Experience in financial controlling, financial reporting, or financial audit roles (at least 10 years) with a deep understanding of management reporting and financial planning. Demonstrated experience of financial analysis, forecasting, planning and decision-making support. Experience in a global organisation across a matrix environment with cross-functional stakeholders. Ability to see the big picture and effectively prioritise short- and long-term objectives. Strong communicator with experience working in English speaking organisations. Ability to challenge senior stakeholders and ask the right questions to achieve the optimal outcome. Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentation skills. Advanced Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc) and SAP experience. Knowledge of Bison/consolidation systems, Power BI, Sap Analytics Cloud, other reporting systems. Depending on the role and internal policies, the position may also be eligible for a bonus (if applicable and based on defined, non-discretionary criteria) and/or awards for exceptional performance (granted at the employer’s discretion). All statutory benefits will be maintained in accordance with Polish law.
