Role Summary

The Global Senior Finance Analyst will provide finance leadership and support to the Trauma & Extremities platform, representing over $3.5 billion in global sales. This role is for a highly motivated individual who will provide financial insights and leadership to drive business objectives. This individual will report to the Global Finance Director of Trauma & Extremities. Based in West Chester, PA.

Responsibilities

  • Partner and engage with leaders within the Global Growth Marketing (GGM) organization and other cross-functional teams to develop strategies, prioritize investments, optimize the innovation portfolio, manage product lifecycles, and ensure financial performance targets are met or exceeded.
  • Support and build business case valuations for numerous pipeline projects and present key financial product overviews to project teams and finance leadership.
  • Responsible for managing the financial valuation models.
  • Perform month-end close responsibilities including preparation of journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, providing commentary on actual versus budgeted results, reporting headcount & capital, and reviewing results with business partners.
  • Assist in all aspects of forecast cycles for sales and expenses by partnering with Global Finance leaders and U.S. Commercial teams to understand sales projections, headcount assumptions, and expenses to craft a total P&L and load all data points into financial systems.

Qualifications

  • Required: A minimum of a Bachelorโ€™s degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
  • Preferred: MBA, CPA, CMA, and/or other financial certifications.
  • Preferred: Experience with SAP, Tableau, TM1, and AFO.
  • Required: A minimum of 3 years of finance and accounting experience.
  • Required: Excellent analytical (MS Excel), conceptual, communication, accounting fundamentals and interpersonal skills.
  • Required: Collaborative style to work effectively in a matrix organization across functional groups.
  • Required: Creative thinking and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Required: Ability to work in a dynamic environment, work independently, handle multiple tasks, and implement process improvements.
  • Required: Effective communication and ability to influence at all levels within a matrixed organization.

Education

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance or Accounting (required).
