Role: Senior Medical Director/Executive Medical Director leading clinical development strategy and execution for Phase 1 and 2 trials of Alumis's TYK2 inhibitors, focusing on autoimmune and neurological indications, including neuroinflammatory and neurodegenerative diseases. Responsibilities: design and oversee clinical studies for pipeline assets such as A-005 in neurology; develop development plans and study protocols; provide scientific leadership and cross-functional collaboration; serve as Medical Monitor ensuring safety and data integrity; contribute to regulatory interactions and external scientific engagement; mentor junior staff and support organizational growth. Requirements: MD with neurology expertise, 10+ years in biotech/pharma clinical development, demonstrated leadership in Phase 1/2 studies, regulatory experience with FDA/EMA, strong understanding of early clinical strategies, preferably with immunology or TYK2/JAK inhibitor familiarity; excellent communication and leadership skills. Preferred: experience expanding indications, relationships with KOLs in neurology or inflammatory diseases, experience in fast-paced biotech environments, familiarity with expedited pathways.
