Senior Events Specialist, USCAN Field Marketing

Role: Senior Events Specialist, USCAN Field Marketing, planning and executing customer-facing events across the US and Canada to support Illumina's genomic technology initiatives. Responsibilities: manage high-volume regional sales and vendor events; source venues, coordinate contracts, oversee event logistics (AV, catering, transportation); develop and manage registration and attendee communications using Cvent; track budgets, process invoices, ensure compliance with Transfers of Value reporting; support post-event analysis and stakeholder feedback. Qualifications: 5+ years of corporate event planning, including sourcing, contracting, registration, speaker management, and post-event reporting; proficiency with Cvent; experience supporting life sciences or healthcare events; strong project management and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate multiple programs. Preferred: experience with transfers of Value and compliance reporting; occasional travel support for on-site event execution. High-Value biopharma specifics: supporting life sciences customer programs, with some experience in medical device, diagnostics, healthcare, or biotech sectors. Work setup: primarily on-site with occasional travel; based in US or Canada.
