Senior Engineering Manager

Senior Engineering Manager — technical leader for the site responsible for Engineering and Maintenance activities related to the facility and production equipment, including production support; engineering disciplines (mechanical, process, controls, electrical); validation; maintenance; capital planning and spending; and technical support for new product launches.

Responsibilities:
- Financial responsibility for the Maintenance and Engineering budgets
- Financial responsibility for capital spending
- Partner with cross-functional peers to ensure plant goals and objectives are met
- Develop Engineering and Maintenance strategies aligned with the business
- Ensure personnel work in a safe environment with proper safety tools and procedures
- Maintain appropriate compliance level in assigned work
- Ensure proper human resources, tools, and equipment are in place to deliver expected service
- Assure personnel have proper training and education
- Negotiate, secure, oversee, and ensure resources are available to meet project and site goals
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost avoidance, and cost reduction
- People leadership: set expectations, coach/counsel/develop/evaluate, provide feedback, and manage hiring, discipline, and separations for Engineering and Maintenance staff

Qualifications:
- B.S. in Engineering
- 10+ years in engineering with experience in equipment and facility planning, design, construction, and operation in a manufacturing environment
