Senior Engineer, Technology II (Data Engineering & Architecture)

Role: Senior Data Engineer & Solution Architect specializing in cloud-native data lakehouse architecture for Supply Chain data domains within biopharma operations. Objectives: design, develop, and oversee scalable, high-performance data solutions to enable trusted analytics, data products, and governance across Supply Chain functions. Responsibilities: architect and implement data ingestion frameworks using AWS Glue, S3, EMR, Lambda, and Informatica; build and optimize AWS Redshift data warehouses; apply Medallion Architecture and data mesh principles; model supply chain data from SAP and planning systems, including demand and supply planning data (e.g., Blue Yonder). Lead technical teams, ensuring reliable delivery and promoting engineering excellence. Qualifications: 7+ years in data architecture/engineering; Bachelor's in CS, IS, or related field; proficiency with AWS services, Apache Iceberg, Redshift, SQL, Python, Spark/PySpark; experience with data governance tools like Alation or AWS Glue Data Catalog.
