Role: Senior Engineer specializing in lab automation within a GxP pharmaceutical setting, supporting biologics and cell therapy manufacturing. Objectives include ensuring reliable, secure, and compliant automation systems and software in the lab and manufacturing environments. Responsibilities encompass managing documentation, configuring and maintaining automation systems (e.g., Hamilton Venus, HighRes BioSolutions, Cellario), supporting system validation and upgrades, troubleshooting, and end-user training. The role also involves collaborating with SMEs across Quality, Manufacturing, Validation, and Digital teams, and providing technical support during audits. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or IT, with at least 5 years supporting laboratory automation, instrument qualification, and GxP compliance; hands-on experience with lab automation software, system integrations, and troubleshooting; knowledge of data integrity, cyber security, 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, and validation principles. Preferred skills include experience with biologics or cell therapy workflows, and configuring high-throughput lab systems. The position demands strong project management, technical troubleshooting, and cross-functional communication skills. Work setup is based on the role's core responsibilities, supporting 24/7 operations with on-call support and involvement in audits and inspections.
