Role: Senior Automation Engineer supporting Lilly's new Medicines Foundry, focusing on process automation for GMP manufacturing. Responsibilities include leading integration of analytical systems into DeltaV/Rockwell platforms, recipe setup, configuration, and maintaining compliance with GMP standards during lab onboarding and project phases. The role involves mentoring engineers, troubleshooting control system issues, and ensuring reliable, validated automation systems supporting clinical manufacturing. Requirements: B.S. in Engineering or related field, 3+ years in automation engineering, experience with PLC/SCADA systems (Rockwell, DeltaV), and knowledge of GMP and validation. Preferred: experience with recipe management, phased commissioning, and data integration to repositories like PI or DCS. High-value: supporting a greenfield, phased startup environment (2025-2029) at a new site in Lebanon, IN, with focus on biologics or advanced manufacturing processes.
