Responsibilities:
- Responsible for electrical maintenance, repair, and improvement for process and facility systems, including troubleshooting, ordering, installation, and maintenance of high/low voltage systems.
- Conduct routine testing of conductor insulation, transformer coils, circuit breakers, and related switchgear using turns ratio tester, megger, load tester, and ultrasonic sensors.
- Follow proper written and verbal procedures.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems (DCS and emergency lighting), including backup battery testing and preventive maintenance of electronic components.
- Perform preventive maintenance testing on transformer minizones and the back-up generator system.
- Operate and maintain Soft Starts and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Process Controls/DCS or Infrared Thermography; demonstrate competence in applicable specialized fields.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on motor control centers; understand motor load characteristics; conduct motor diagnostic testing in energized and de-energized states.
- Demonstrate knowledge of electrical standards (AbbVie Electrical Standards, NEC, and GMP) for assigned zones.
- Use basic CMMS functions, including maintenance queries and ordering parts.

Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent.
- 5+ years related experience in commercial/industrial work (may include an accredited electrical apprenticeship).
- AbbVie-qualified Level 4 electrician.
