Senior Electrician

Role: Senior Electrician responsible for electrical operations and maintenance at Amgen’s biopharma manufacturing site. Key responsibilities include managing electrical power systems, backup generators, UPS, troubleshooting, installing, and repairing electrical equipment, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and cGMP standards. The role emphasizes safety, quality, efficient work execution, and collaboration with operators and stakeholders. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED + 2 years’ electrical systems/maintenance experience or military background; preferred candidates have California electrician certification, 5+ years of industrial electrical experience, knowledge of pharma/biotech industry, NFPA 70E training, and proficiency with electrical schematics and Maximo CMMS. High-value biopharma specifics: working in a regulated biotech manufacturing environment, supporting operations critical to producing medicines in a clean, compliant facility. Work setup: Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm, with potential for nights, weekends, or holidays; location onsite at Amgen's manufacturing site, with no specified travel requirements.
