Senior District Business Manager โ Princeton, NJ (Cardiovascular)
Position Summary
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of ~6โ10 Therapeutic Area Specialists (TASs) to drive adoption of the assigned Cardiovascular portfolio and generate demand.
- Own TAS learning journey; coach on selling skills, scientific engagement, and digital capabilities; ensure continuous improvement in core skills/behavior.
- Champion adoption of new capabilities (e.g., CE^3 analytics, content personalization) including Medical on Call and CE^3 tools.
- Lead business and account planning; execute strategic planning (e.g., promo program planning, budget planning, HCP tumor/account prioritization) and ensure continuous customer experience improvement.
- Ensure district financial/program planning.
- Field-based: expected 100% time in the field with TASs.
Key Responsibilities
- Focused in-role coaching (ride-alongs for key HCPs as relevant).
- Adoption coaching on CE^3 insights for call planning/preparation.
- Account prioritization and strategy development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree or equivalent; 5+ years pharmaceutical (or related) industry experience.
- Demonstrated track record leading/inspiring high-performing teams to exceed goals.
- Proven experience selecting/developing/retaining talent.
- Experience using analytical/selling skills and knowledge of the pharmaceutical value chain.
- Company vehicle eligibility: meet โQualified Driverโ requirements (e.g., at least 21, valid license, acceptable driving risk).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior District Business Manager experience (pharmaceutical sales) or equivalent team leadership.
- Pharma experience preferred, including reimbursement processes, access, and distribution environment.
