Senior Director, Marketing Operations (Waltham, MA)

Primary Responsibilities Include
- Enterprise Strategy, Operating Model, and Performance: Own the enterprise marketing operations operating model across brands/therapeutic areas; partner with Finance, Procurement, and IT on resourcing/tools/integrated planning; build and govern a multi-year capability roadmap; drive prioritization, metrics, and performance management; advise senior leadership on operational performance, risk, and tradeoffs.
- Promotional Review and External Engagement Governance: Set/scale PRC/MLR operating model (governance, capacity planning, vendor strategy, SOPs); own enterprise KPIs and continuous improvement; ensure on-time performance, quality, surge readiness, and cross-brand prioritization; govern sponsorships and grants with consistent, audit-ready controls.
- Customer Engagement Programs (Peer-to-Peer, Congresses, Meetings, KOLs): Own portfolio governance for P2P education (standards, compliance guardrails, vendor oversight); partner with Field on execution cadence/capacity/investment alignment; oversee congress strategy and multi-brand integration; set KOL engagement operations approach (governance/vendor/policy); own meeting strategy (NSMs, POAs) including calendar governance, capacity planning, and cost/quality standards.
- Print, Fulfillment, and Omnichannel Enablement: Own print/fulfillment strategy (vendor governance, risk mitigation, cost-to-serve); set omnichannel/field enablement standards (deployment, taxonomy, measurement, system integration); establish KPIs for deployment/adoption/content health; guide cross-functional execution (Marketing, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, IT, Commercial Operations).

Education And Skills Requirements
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required (Masterโ€™s preferred); 15+ years in pharma/biotech marketing ops, commercial ops, or related.
- Experience leading enterprise/portfolio operating models in regulated environments; promotional compliance/governance/risk management across brands/therapeutic areas.
- Proven ability leading/coaching senior leaders; strategic enterprise leader defining vision/standards at scale.
- Strong judgment balancing speed, quality, compliance; influence executives with data-driven recommendations.
- Expertise in portfolio prioritization, capacity planning, and resource allocation; cross-functional interdependencies/integrated commercial systems.
