Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee marketing for the EMPAVELI franchise (PNH, C3G, IC-MPGN); manage and develop a US Marketing Team (line management, mentorship, performance feedback, goal setting).
- Lead ongoing launch of EMPAVELI into nephrology (C3G & IC-MPGN) with cross-functional leadership; keep senior/executive leadership updated.
- Drive development and execution of US brand strategy; execute brand plan through the US marketing team.
- Build cross-functional collaboration/accountability (home office and field); drive a portfolio mindset.
- Define brand KPIs across indications, monitor performance, and drive results in a competitive market.
- Lead quarterly business reviews and monthly business updates for North America Leadership with cross-functional partners.
- Participate in short- and long-term forecasting and brand goal development.
- Socialize brand strategy, goals, forecast, and core marketing activities.
- Lead cross-functional alignment for activities and life-cycle management, including LCM and evidence generation.
- Represent US commercial on Labeling, EMPAVELI Program, and Comms Teams.
- Lead annual US strategy process and US brand planning; align with alliance partner (Sobi).
- Ensure compliance/legal/regulatory infrastructure supports US marketing execution.
- Foster patient-focus and customer-centricity; manage marketing budget and support P&L.

Qualifications:
- BS/BA in life sciences; MBA preferred.
- 12+ years biotech/pharma experience; predominantly marketing with increasing scope/responsibility; complementary commercial experience preferred (e.g., patient/HCP marketing, sales, market access, commercial ops, global marketing).
- Experience in affiliate launches and rare diseases preferred.

Skills/Abilities (required unless noted):
- Rare disease experience preferred.
- Demonstrated dynamic leadership, accountability, and urgency.
- Customer-focused; strong communication and influence across functions.
- Entrepreneurial, innovative problem-solver; integrity and regulatory understanding.
- Ability to succeed in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Work/Travel:
- Onsite at Cambridge office 3 times/week.
- Domestic travel up to 30% and attend events outside business hours.
