About the Role
The Senior Director, US Brand Strategy & Launch will lead the end-to-end U.S. commercialization strategy for Neurocrineโs upcoming Mood Disorders launch, accountable for HCP strategy, some patient marketing strategy, launch execution, and long-term brand performance.
Your Contributions (include, But Are Not Limited To)
- Own U.S. brand strategy (positioning, segmentation, messaging, metrics) to drive differentiated commercial performance.
- Lead cross-functional brand planning (marketing, medical affairs, market access, sales, regulatory, analytics) to ensure coordinated launch.
- Apply neuropsychiatric landscape expertise (disease burden, patient heterogeneity, stigma, care delivery) to shape HCP/patient engagement.
- Monitor market/competitive trends and adjust strategy to maximize brand potential and long-term growth.
- Design and execute pre-launch and launch programs (personal, non-personal, peer-to-peer education) for psychiatrists, community providers, patients, and care partners.
- Partner with commercial analytics to translate insights, patient flows, and prescriber behavior into actionable strategies.
- Serve as commercial lead; influence senior leadership decisions on strategy, investment, and prioritization.
- Represent brand in governance forums (e.g., promotional review) to ensure compliance and alignment.
- Build external stakeholder relationships (thought leaders, advocacy and local/national organizations).
- Own brand operating budget and investment strategy; manage external agencies for ROI.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team; operate effectively in a matrixed environment.

Requirements
- BS/BA in scientific or business discipline with 15+ years relevant experience, including 7+ years strong pharma marketing and/or sales; experience managing outside agencies/design firms/internal teams; in-line brand marketing with commercial launch OR
- Masterโs/MBA with 13+ years OR
- PhD with 10+ years and strong commercial leadership.
- Proven track record leading U.S. brand strategy and launch execution (neuroscience/psychiatry/specialty preferred).
- Deep understanding of HCP and patient dynamics in mental health.
- Ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience influencing senior leadership; leading cross-functional teams in a matrix.
- Strong leadership and team-building experience.
- Experience managing external agencies and omnichannel marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management.
- Domestic travel (25โ50%).

- Annual base salary: $233,400.00โ$318,000.00; annual bonus target 35% of earned base; equity long-term incentive eligibility.
