About The Role
The Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) is a field-based commercial strategist who embeds Dermatology and Allergy expert voice into Lilly’s commercial decisions, translating external expertise into strategy and elevating peer-to-peer education to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- TL Relationship Depth & Local Market Activation (~40%): Build and sustain partnerships with 30–40 Dermatology and Allergy thought leaders (HCPs/KOS); maintain and assess a prioritized expert panel (contracted faculty, rising stars, emerging influencers); engage TLs early; coach/develop faculty via monthly in-clinic/live touchpoints; lead Dermfluencer identification; manage the LUSA partnership; translate brand strategy into local behavior change to drive adoption.
- Strategic Insight, Congress & External Landscape (~45%): Generate structured, high-quality insights to influence upstream decisions; provide post-congress “so what/now what” synthesis; contribute field perspective into customer/business planning; steward the external TL ecosystem with Field.
- P2P Education Excellence & Speaker Development: Coach faculty for clinical aptitude and podium excellence; ensure compliant P2P education; provide input into content/key messages; develop sales force P2P initiatives and workshop content.
- Selective Execution Oversight & Internal Alignment (~15%): Attend brand meetings selectively; create FCAPs and RFSs; train sales reps on P2P procedures; complete clinical, compliance, and ITP training.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Professional certification/license required if required by a specific state
- Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Authorized to work in the US full-time (no visa sponsorship)
Preferred Skills
- Senior leadership performance management; prior marketing/TLL or launch experience
- Advanced degree (PhD/MPH/PharmD/MBA)
- 7–10 years industry experience (immunology strongly preferred)
- US affiliate marketing approval and agency/vendor management expertise
- High clinical aptitude for complex biologic discussions (Dermatology/Allergy)
- Ability to translate insights into strategic brand input and measurable market behavior change
Additional Information
- 50–70% domestic travel (evenings/weekends)
- Reside within ~30 miles of a hub-city airport in the Southwest Region
