About the Role
The Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) is a field-based commercial strategist and trusted advisor who embeds Dermatology and Allergy expert voice into Lilly’s commercial decisions—translating external expertise into strategic direction, elevating peer-to-peer education that improves patient outcomes, and strengthening long-term Immunology leadership.
Responsibilities
- Build and sustain deep partnerships with 30–40 Dermatology and Allergy Thought Leaders (HCPs and KOS); maintain a prioritized view of contracted faculty, rising stars, and emerging influencers; conduct annual faculty assessment.
- Engage current and rising TLs upstream; coach and develop faculty through monthly in-clinic and live touchpoints.
- Lead Dermfluencer identification and manage the LUSA partnership in coordination with Brand.
- Translate brand strategy into local behavior change; deploy P2P and expert influence to drive adoption in priority geographies.
- Generate structured, high-quality insights that directly influence upstream commercial decisions; provide post-congress synthesis (“so what / now what”).
- Provide field perspective into annual Customer Planning and Business Planning; partner with Market Research.
- Own ecosystem (RHM) stewardship and partnership with Field.
- Coach faculty for clinical aptitude and podium excellence; ensure compliant P2P education.
- Provide strategic input into P2P content and key messages; develop sales force P2P educational initiatives and sales meeting workshop content.
- Selectively attend brand meetings; create FCAPs and RFSs; train sales reps on P2P procedures.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Required professional certification/license if needed by specific state.
- Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Full-time US work authorization (no visa sponsorship).
Preferred Skills
- Senior-leader performance management; prior Marketing or TLL experience; prior launch experience.
- Advanced degree (PhD, MPH, PharmD, or MBA).
- 7–10 years industry experience (Immunology strongly preferred).
- US affiliate marketing approvals; external agency/vendor management.
- High clinical aptitude for biologic discussions in Dermatology/Allergy.
- Ability to translate insights into strategic brand input and measurable market/adoption impact.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, self-management, and influence.
Additional Information
- ~50–70% domestic travel.
- Reside within ~30 miles of a hub-city airport in the Atlantic South Region.
