Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage core GxP/Qualified ITSM functions: requests, incident management, problem management, CAPA, deviations, and change management.
- Build an adaptive, continuously improving service desk with staffed coverage for standard business hours (US & EU) and 24/7 after-hours support.
- Develop scalable desktop engineering, cloud-focused infrastructure/networking, and workplace applications teams (O365, Box, Okta, MDM, DocuSign, and others).
- Develop and maintain 3-year technology roadmaps, total cost of ownership, and value realization models for core IT Operations systems.
- Lead a team of FTEs and managed service providers supporting service desk, infrastructure, and workplace applications.
- Manage relationships with key technology vendors and research partners.
- Champion ITSM processes across the organization to ensure accurate, timely data and service delivery.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure efficient hand-offs and communications.
- Partner with the Vice President of IT and lead key initiatives.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Proficiencies:
- Strong understanding of qualified infrastructure and systems for the Life Sciences industry.
- Track record delivering complex technology projects.
- Strategic thinker translating regulatory expectations and operational risk into practical roadmaps and measurable execution plans.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL 4-based support functions in regulated environments.
- Experience in regulated life sciences IT services (GxP, validated/qualified systems, audit readiness, change control, deviations, CAPA).

Preferred Education/Experience:
- BS/BA required.
- 12+ years of life sciences experience focused on IT system delivery.
- 5+ years managing Service Desk, IT Operations, and Infrastructure teams.
- Excellent communication skills.
