Senior Director - Strategic Events

Role: Senior Director, Strategic Events, responsible for developing and executing an enterprise-wide events strategy aligned with corporate growth, brand visibility, and stakeholder engagement. Key responsibilities include leading planning and execution of trade shows, scientific and customer-facing events, executive experiences, and product launches; establishing standards for event quality and efficiency; managing budgets and vendor negotiations; and measuring event impact and ROI. The role requires aligning cross-functional teams such as Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to enhance organizational objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field; 7+ years in strategic event management with a proven record of handling large-scale conferences, executive meetings, and customer programs; 5+ years leadership experience; strong stakeholder management, operational planning, and budget skills. Preferred: experience in biotech, healthcare, or pharmaceuticals; Master's degree; professional certifications in event or project management. High-Value: healthcare/life sciences industry experience; expertise in executive engagement, scientific meetings, and corporate activations; familiarity with emerging technologies and AI in event planning. Work setup: hybrid with up to 30% travel; evening and weekend event attendance may be required.
