Senior Director – Software Engineering & Product Delivery
Responsibilities:
- Lead a software delivery team for patient engagement products; design and deliver patient-centered solutions using modern technologies, architectures, and agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with UX and technology foundation teams to ensure products address patient needs and improve treatment outcomes.
- Influence and refine development process as the organization scales; establish an adaptive, impactful delivery operation.
- Design/build applications that exceed product goals; guide teams on resourcing, budgeting, and complex problem-solving.
- Partner with Product Owners/Managers on roadmaps and release plans; ensure feature-to-business-value alignment.
- Mentor teams, foster innovation, and drive continuous improvement of software engineering processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Set clear objectives, scope, and schedules; communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Experience leading complex software engineering projects from inception to production.
- Software delivery experience for customer-facing applications (e.g., Jira/Confluence) using agile delivery.
- Ability to scope/schedule/resource multiple complex projects with cross-functional partners.
- Working understanding of Web Development, Machine Learning/AI, and Data Engineering.
- Grow/mature software engineering teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/related field.
- 10+ years software engineering/technical delivery/solution leadership; 5+ years owning end-to-end software delivery.
- Web and cloud technology experience.
- Relocation required (Indianapolis, IN).
Compensation & Benefits (if applicable): $157,500–$231,000; eligible for company bonus; comprehensive benefits including 401(k), insurance, time off, and well-being.
