Senior Director, Safety & Pharmacovigilance

Role: Senior Director, Safety & Pharmacovigilance, leading global drug safety operations across Larimar's product lifecycle, from clinical development to post-marketing. Responsibilities: develop and oversee a robust, compliant pharmacovigilance system; provide strategic guidance to executive management; manage safety surveillance, signal detection, aggregate safety reporting, and vendor performance; ensure inspection readiness and regulatory compliance; support safety-related regulatory submissions and interactions; and collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical, Medical, Regulatory, Quality, and Data teams. Requirements: extensive experience in pharmacovigilance leadership within biotech or pharma; strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, ICH); proven ability to build scalable PV systems; vendor management expertise; and strategic leadership skills. High-Value: biologics or small-molecule products, with emphasis on global regulatory compliance, inspection readiness, and safety signal management; experience supporting regulatory interactions and safety data management; familiarity with safety databases and pharmacovigilance standards.
