Senior Director, RWE Lead in Inflammation Therapeutic Areas

Role: Senior Director, RWE Inflammation Product Lead, accountable for developing and executing Gilead's global Real-World Evidence (RWE) strategy for inflammation therapeutics across development and lifecycle management. Responsibilities: lead a team of observational research scientists, design and conduct epidemiologic studies, ensure RWE aligns with regulatory and internal objectives, and communicate findings for regulatory submissions, publications, and external collaborations. Serve as internal RWE subject matter expert and strategic partner to clinical, medical, and commercial teams, supporting regulatory interactions and payer/provider engagement. Requirements: advanced degree in Epidemiology (PhD, MSc, or equivalent), with 12+ years of post-graduate experience—preferably with biopharmaceutical industry leadership; demonstrated expertise in observational study design, RWE applications in early development and regulatory filings, and epidemiologic methods.
