Senior Director RWE

Role: Senior Director, US Evidence – Respiratory & Immunology, leads the US RWE strategy for respiratory and immunology portfolios, overseeing research that demonstrates product value, supports medical strategy, and addresses evidence gaps throughout the product lifecycle. Responsibilities include developing and executing RWE plans aligned with global strategies, partnering with stakeholders across medical, market access, and external entities, championing health equity, and managing AI-driven workflows to enhance evidence generation. The role also involves building and mentoring a diverse RWE team, guiding economic and clinical evidence creation, and ensuring compliance with privacy and GxP standards. Key collaborations are with global HEPE, implementation science, academic consortia, and field medical teams to translate RWE into practice-changing insights. The position emphasizes advancing methodologies like causal inference and target trial emulation, integrating AI/ML tools responsibly, and fostering digital literacy within the team. The senior leader manages budgets, vendor performance, and ensures timely, high-quality outputs. Qualifications include an advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or Master’s) in a relevant field, 10+ years of experience in RWE/HEOR within pharma, managed care, or academia, deep expertise in observational study design and US healthcare systems, and experience leading high-performing teams. Respiratory and immunology experience (e.g., asthma, COPD) and a strong publication record are highly desirable. The role is based in Wilmington, DE, with periodic travel (~15-20%) to support collaborations and industry events.
