Position Summary:
Reporting to the Executive Director, Research & Early Pipeline Communications, the Senior Director, Research Communications, Neuro, ICV, & Integrative Sciences leads research and early pipeline communications across BMSโ€™ Neuroscience, Immunology & Cardiovascular (ICV), and Integrative Sciences portfolios. Ensures a consistent, differentiated communications approach for external scientific collaborations and platform innovations aligned with enterprise/business priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead communications strategy for Neuro, ICV, and Integrative Sciences portfolios; align trends, competitive insights, and science with BMS research strategy.
- Develop and execute integrated communications plans to elevate Early Pipeline visibility and leadership positioning.
- Conceptualize and oversee content on targets, pathways, platform innovations, and thematic areas tied to current/emerging pipeline.
- Coordinate disclosures for medical meetings, earnings announcements, collaborations, and milestones (prioritization and messaging alignment).
- Drive earned/owned/paid/digital multi-channel strategies; manage agency partners/internal teams; ensure execution, measurement, and reporting.
- Provide global/enterprise messaging frameworks and resources for international colleagues.
- Support narrative continuity from early research through development.
- Manage external agency relationships; oversee budget tracking.
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed organization.

Qualifications & Experience (Required/Highly Desirable):
- 12+ years in Corporate Affairs with focus on pharmaceutical/scientific communications (agency experience highly desirable).
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in related field.
- Proven track record advising senior/executive leaders; scientific communications strategy.
- Strong research/early development understanding (competitive dynamics, regulatory considerations).
- Excellent collaboration, verbal/written communication; ability to translate complex science into clear narratives.
- Strong project management; multi-channel storytelling with metrics.
- Proficiency with generative AI platforms.
- High integrity/discretion.
