Position Summary

The Senior Director, Program Management, will be responsible for assigned project management activities for product portfolio and initiative projects. The individual will also support cross-functional team(s) to ensure timely execution of all program activities on the critical path to delivery of key program and corporate milestones. This position will report to Vice President, Chief of Staff & Head of PMO.

This position has the potential to be fully remote, but is strongly preferred if local to the Bay Area with the ability and willingness to work in person from the Brisbane, CA office several days a week.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Build and maintain assigned project/program(s) timelines and interdependencies.
• Provide project coordination and communication in support of cross-functional team(s).
• Establish and maintain metrics to track projects and provide real-time reporting of project status.
• Identify issues and risks and work with the team to develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate and lead all aspects of internal project meetings, including agenda drafting and documentation of key discussion points, decisions, and action items.
• As needed, support oversight of contracts and outsourced activities with vendors and business partners.
• As the project advances, lead project management work for global NDA/BLA/MAA of select assets.
• Work with other project/program management personnel to ensure functional alignment, development of appropriate tools and good PM practices for the Company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or relevant field.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in (bio)pharma project management and/or related discipline.
• Superior written, verbal communication, organizational and people skills.
• Highly collaborative and a strong team player with a track record of effectively managing diverse, cross-functional teams to drive successful execution on program strategy.
• Expertise in creating and maintaining relevant program deliverables.
• Solid capabilities with project management tools, experience with Smartsheet strongly preferred.
• Experience working with external partners is a plus.
• Oncology drug development experience required, with early-stage experience (Ph 1/2) preferred.
• Experience in ADC development is strongly preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.

Compensation And Benefits

The salary range for this position is $250,000 - $275,000. Day One considers a range of factors when determining base compensation. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary.
