Role Summary

Senior Director Pricing Strategy – Rare Disease. Lead design and implementation of global pricing and contracting strategies for Regeneron’s rare disease therapies, ensuring sustainable access and value recognition across diverse healthcare systems. Partner across functions to influence launch pricing decisions and early asset pricing evaluations.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the global pricing strategy for rare disease assets across all phases—from clinical development through commercialization
  • Lead all primary and secondary research and financial analytics to support an insights driven value-based Pricing Strategy
  • Lead cross-functional pricing strategy teams, integrating insights from Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, and Commercial functions
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships across Commercial, HEOR, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Finance teams
  • Actively participate and provide strategic pricing inputs to the commercial and MA sub-teams
  • Shape launch sequencing and price corridor management across major regions (U.S., EU4, UK, Japan, Canada, and key international markets)
  • Lead the Pricing Governance process to ensure timely establishment of List and Net Pricing Guidelines, including broad contracting frameworks
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders on global pricing risks and opportunities
  • Work closely with regional pricing leads to co-create and execute ex-US launch pricing and price management frameworks

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree required (MBA, MPH, PharmD, MHA, or related field).
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in global pricing, market access, or commercial strategy within the biopharmaceutical industry
  • Strong understanding of US Payer system (Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid), International HTA and payer systems, reference pricing mechanisms, and access pathways
  • Knowledge of Payer, Provider and Patient dynamic for Medical and Pharmacy covered products
  • Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills with a global perspective
  • Proven success launching innovative specialty therapies globally
  • Experience in rare / orphan experience a plus
  • Strategic leader able to balance commercial, clinical, and ethical dimensions of pricing in rare diseases
  • Collaborative and influential communicator capable of engaging cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing through best-practice frameworks and playbook
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering collaboration, transparency, and accountability
