Position Summary
This role is the asset leader supporting cross-functional strategy for programs (assets) in Acadiaโ€™s portfolio. Develop and execute program plans, lead Asset Strategy Teams (ASTs), ensure effective communication across cross-functional organizations, and translate decisions into action.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead ASTs by developing, articulating, and delivering on an integrated asset strategy.
- Drive planning for key drug development stage-gate decision points for Portfolio Governance approval.
- Conduct risk management, contingency and scenario planning; communicate risks and escalate to executive management.
- Lead decision analysis: outcome scenarios, alternative development options, go/no-go criteria, PTRS, and value/investment implications.
- Coordinate with Portfolio Management for aligned execution and consistent stakeholder reporting.
- Manage integrated program budget and resource plan with Finance and functional line representatives.
- Coordinate AST formation for early-stage programs post-stage-gate decision into IND-enabling studies or later stages via licensing/acquisition.
- Facilitate resource planning (financial and capacity assessments).
- Establish/update Target Product Profiles (TPPs).
- Collaborate with sub-teams to align plans/timelines with asset objectives and goals.

Education/Experience/Requirements
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in life science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- ~12 years progressively responsible experience in program management, including ~8 years managing cross-functional project teams; strong drug development knowledge from preclinical pharmacology through regulatory approval.

- Executive presence and strong communication; advanced meeting facilitation.
- Project management expertise for drug development (time, cost, quality, risk).
- Financial management knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal/organizational/written & verbal skills; thrives in a matrix.
- Ability to support multiple asset teams; manage shifting priorities.
- Track record implementing project management tools/methodologies; proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Word, Excel.
- Domestic travel occasionally.

Salary Range
$238,000โ€”$297,800 USD
