Job Overview

Reporting to the Vice President of Market Access, the Sr Director, Patient Services and Distribution will be a key strategic leader within the Market Access team, responsible for leading the patients services and distribution/channel strategy and operational execution for Disc’s therapies resulting in appropriate patient access for Disc therapies. The role requires a strategic mindset, a collaborative approach, and a strong commitment to building a culture of ownership, accountability, and trust. This individual will act as a critical bridge between internal stakeholders and external partners ensuring disciplined execution of patient services and distribution/channel strategies that enable timely and appropriate patient access and product distribution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute patient services and distribution strategy
• Collaborate with field reimbursement, sales and marketing
• Manage external partnerships
• Develop case issue resolution processes
• Ensure data quality
• Develop co-pay programs
• Implement patient adherence programs
• Troubleshoot reimbursement challenges
• Monitor program performance
• Lead training initiatives
• Serve as internal expert on patient access and reimbursement
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred)
• 12+ years of commercial experience in biopharmaceutical industry
• 8+ years of Market Access leadership
• Experience with orphan/specialty product launches
• Strong understanding of payer systems
• Exceptional communication skills
• Willingness to travel as needed
