Responsibilities:
- Lead development and execution of consumer marketing strategies and tactical plans for rare disease portfolio assets across pre-launch, launch, and post-launch.
- Build business cases for patient-oriented programs supporting sustainable brand growth.
- Develop patient and caregiver-focused tools/programs (e.g., disease education materials; patient support tools to improve HCP/patient communication).
- Develop and implement geotargeted digital campaigns for rare disease and cardiometabolic patient populations (precision over scale).
- Partner with patient support services to align patient communication/engagement, including access to sponsored genetic testing.
- Evolve, develop, and execute the Patient Ambassador Program; recruit, certify, and mentor ambassadors.
- Analyze reimbursement trends/barriers to align marketing with patient access and affordability challenges.
- Use data analytics to identify patient needs/preferences and tailor marketing to improve engagement and support outcomes.
- Leverage marketplace trends and competitive benchmarking to inform patient/consumer marketing programs and tactics.
- Enhance the patient portion of the brand website.
- Ensure cross-functional communication/alignment with Field Sales/Medical, Access & Reimbursement, Marketing, Legal/Compliance.
- Collaborate with Patient Advocacy on organization & advocacy strategy; partner with Corporate Communications on PR patient strategies.
- Ensure branding consistency with HCP/scientific marketing; work with Insights & Analytics on proactive data collection/analysis.
- Manage budgets; monitor performance and KPIs; support brand strategy and annual brand plans.
- Attend industry conferences/networking.

Qualifications/Skills:
- 14+ years biopharmaceutical marketing experience, including 5+ years in consumer marketing.
- Neurology/rare disease experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/PhD/MD preferred.
- Proven omnichannel consumer marketing track record, including new product launches.
- Demonstrated strategic leadership and ability to drive performance and cross-functional alignment.
- Strong analytical skills (quantitative/qualitative).
- Strong project/process management; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Effective written/oral communication; ability to present complex messages.
- Initiative, creativity, and ability to work in complex, fast-changing environments.
