Senior Director, Pathology

Role: Senior Director, Pathology, providing scientific leadership in clinical pathology for Alnylam’s research and development pipeline. Responsibilities include interpreting preclinical clinical pathology data, reviewing GLP and non-GLP study results, supporting regulatory submissions, and guiding biomarker and translational strategies from discovery through early development. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, mentoring pathology scientists, and presenting findings. Qualifications: 15+ years as a pathologist in biotech, pharma, or CRO; veterinary degree with ACVP/ECVP certification; PhD preferred but not essential; proven publication and presentation record; strong communication skills; willingness to travel.
