Senior Director of Clinical Science - Lung

Role: Senior Director, Clinical Science – Lung leads strategic Clinical Science efforts in lung cancer, supporting multiple studies and assets. Responsibilities include shaping disease area strategies with deep expertise in lung cancer biology, promoting scientific standardization, guiding data interpretation, and integrating insights across the portfolio. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Data Management, and Medical Affairs, contributing to development planning, governance discussions, and portfolio decision-making. Leadership duties encompass managing and mentoring Clinical Scientists, fostering scientific excellence, and driving a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, including adoption of advanced analytics and technologies. Qualifications include an advanced degree (PhD or PharmD) with at least 7 years of lung oncology drug development experience or a Master’s with 12+ years, demonstrating deep therapeutic expertise, clinical trial design competence, and leadership in matrix environments. The role requires significant experience in oncology development, regulatory contributions, and cross-functional collaboration, with strong communication and strategic judgment skills. The role is hybrid, with 0-25% travel.
