Senior Director of Clinical Science - Hematology

Role: Senior Director, Clinical Science – Hematology, leading strategic Clinical Science efforts across multiple hematologic cancer studies and assets. Objectives include shaping disease area strategy, promoting scientific standardization, and integrating insights to inform development decisions. Responsibilities encompass providing clinical and scientific leadership, supporting cross-study and cross-asset data interpretation, guiding protocol development, and ensuring scientific consistency across programs. The role involves managing and mentoring clinical scientists, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Biostatistics, Medical Affairs), and contributing to portfolio and governance discussions. It emphasizes establishing scientific standards, implementing innovative approaches, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Qualifications require an advanced degree (PhD, PharmD) with at least 7 years in hematology/oncology drug development or a Master’s with 12+ years of relevant experience. Deep expertise in hematologic cancers, clinical trial design, and cross-functional leadership are essential. The position involves 0-25% travel, operates on a hybrid work model, and focuses on biologics or small molecules in mid to late-stage development (Ph1-3).
