Role: Senior Director, Multimodal AI & Outcome Prediction within AstraZeneca's Enterprise AI team, focused on translating multimodal AI advances into clinical applications for Oncology and BioPharma. Responsibilities: lead scientific development of AI-driven diagnostic and predictive models integrating radiology, pathology, omics, clinical trial, and real-world data; establish enterprise standards for model validation, robustness, and regulatory compliance; advance biomarker discovery, disease stratification, and trial enrichment strategies; foster external partnerships and cross-functional collaboration; and build organizational AI capabilities. Qualifications: Master’s or PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, or related field; 5+ years in AI-enabled biomedical projects, with expertise in multimodal data integration, outcome modelling, survival analysis, and regulatory standards; extensive experience working with large healthcare datasets including EHRs, imaging, and genomics. High-Value: focus on Oncology, development stages from early diagnostics to clinical validation, and deployment of AI models in clinical and real-world settings. WorkSetup: hybrid, based in Boston, with potential options in London or Barcelona; in-office presence required at least three days/week.
