Senior Director - (Medical/M.D.) - ExploR&D Translational Medicine

Role: Senior/Executive Director of Translational Medicine at Lilly's ExploR&D division, responsible for medical strategy and oversight across multiple early development assets, therapeutic areas, and modalities. Responsibilities: lead medical safety and scientific strategy from candidate selection to proof-of-concept, construct and execute clinical development plans, collaborate with cross-functional teams on dose selection and risk management, author and review key regulatory and study documents, and provide medical leadership during clinical trials including safety monitoring and regulatory interactions. Qualifications: MD or DO, board eligible or certified, with at least 3 years industry experience; extensive early phase trial experience (5-7+ years), including protocol authoring across diverse therapeutic areas; strong pharmacology or translational biology expertise preferred.
